Add Professional Titles and Certifications to your Expert Profile

As of Nov 6, 2025, you can now add optional professional titles and certifications to your expert profile.

Professional titles and certifications help experts show their various accomplishments to publishers and journalists. As well, by providing a specific field to enter these details, users no longer have to enter these details in either the First Name or Job Title fields of their profile. This

To add professional titles or certifications to an existing expert profile, navigate to the Profiles page and click the purple pencil "Edit Profile" icon for the expert profile you wish to add these details to.

From the Edit Profile page, you'll see an optional Prefix and Suffix field boxes.

The Prefix field is best suited for any professional or formal titles, such as:

If you previously entered these titles in one of the locked First Name or Last Name fields, you can submit an edit request in-app. Learn more about editing those locked fields here.
