Featured allows publishers to receive Bylined Article pitches from industry experts, ready for publication on your site. Follow these steps to manage requests efficiently.
Step 1: Submit Your Request
Create a bylined article request so relevant experts can pitch articles to your publication.
Once submitted, the request will be reviewed and approved before going live.
Step 2: Request Goes Live
After approval, your article request and requirements are posted for experts to see.
Industry experts will draft and submit article pitches in response to your request.
Step 3: Review Article Pitches
You will receive email notifications whenever a new pitch is submitted.
Approve pitches you are interested in and message the author if needed.
Reject pitches that do not meet your needs.
Step 4: Publish the Article
Once you approve a pitch, publish the expert bylined article on your site.
Make sure to credit the expert! They wrote the content, so they should be listed as a contributing author to your site.
Add the bylined article URL to Featured. We will notify the author so they can share the published piece.
Step 5: Request Completion
Continue receiving article pitches until the request deadline.
You may also close the request early if you no longer wish to accept pitches.
