Experts can always track the status of their answer submissions from the Questions dashboard.

Responses may be under the following pages:

  • Pitched - Every answer you have ever submitted will be located under the Pitched tab. You can filter by Publication Name, Status, Expected Attribution (Pro and Business Plans only), Profile (only applicable if you have multiple expert profiles with submissions) and Is HARO Query.

  • In Review - Your answer has been submitted and is being considered. Answers are typically reviewed within 0-21 days after the deadline. If a quote remains "In Review" for more than three weeks, the journalist has likely reserved the request for future use.

  • Selected - Having your answer selected means it has been chosen by the Featured editorial team or the publisher, indicating their interest in publishing it. This status does not guarantee publication.

  • Published - If your answer is published and the article URL has been shared with Featured, we will update the status of your Selected response and move it to Published. You will also find the article URL here.

  • Not Selected - If a publisher doesn't select your answer or discard a query altogether, it will move to here.
