Bylined Articles are now available to all users as of Oct 14, 2025. This means anyone is able to pitch a Bylined Article.

Here's how access breaks down across plans

Plan Type

What's Included

Free Plan

One Bylined Article submission per month. Your new submission will become available on the first of each month.

Lite Plan

One Bylined Article submission per month. Your new submission will become available on the first of each month. This is different from how the 10 monthly answers are allocated.

Pro Plan

Unlimited Bylined Article submissions

Business Plan

Unlimited Bylined Article submissions + the ability to message publishers before pitching

Business Plan users can send messages to publications to clarify details before submitting a pitch, ensuring their article aligns with the publication's request. Messaging is available unless a source specifically opts out.

Navigating the Bylined Article Requests' Page

Bylined Articles may look similar to our Questions page now; this was intentional!

With Bylined Articles, you are able to scroll through all open requests from publications. Some requests may be specific to a certain topic or need of the publications, while others are more evergreen.

Right now, you can search by keyword. You can also skip a request if it doesn't align with your goals.

Submitting a Bylined Article

Once you locate a publication you'd like to submit to, clicking the Submit button will take you to the response pop-up.

From there, you'll be able to do the following:

  • Select your expert attribution: This is who the publication will see the byline should belong to. Make sure the expert profile you have selected is who the content should be attributed to.

  • Add your article title.

  • Add the Google Doc Link: Set the Google Doc's share settings to "Anyone with the link can view." Make sure you are not attempting to submit a Docx - this will cause a submission failure

  • Add an optional message: If there are any details or insights related to your submission you wish to share with the publication, you can add an optional message that will be shared with them at the time of your pitch being delivered.

    • The publication will receive your account email address with the submission (this is the email you use to log in).
